Giti Tire electrifies with VW ID. Buzz OE fitment

Just named as Overall Winner and Best Large Electric Car at the prestigious What Car? Car of the Year Awards 2023, the VW ID. Buzz is being produced in Hannover near our very own European Research & Development Centre, where the tyre was designed.

The AAA-rated tyres utilise a new generation of tread compound which was developed to solve the technical development challenges of achieving significantly reduced rolling resistance without compromising on wear and the key safety elements of wet and dry braking and handling.

All performance parameters are further fulfilled through an optimised profile and tyre contour.

Stefan Fischer said: “Every OE fitment is a cause for celebration as every member of the team is involved in creating a truly special tyre, but to secure our first EV fitment on one of VW’s most iconic vehicles is a major milestone.
